Forty five kms. away from Dhariyawad is Baneshwar- where an old temple Shiva is located. Here every year in February on a full moon day, people perform ritual ceremonies and take a holy dip in the river.
Bhils (vanputras- sons of the forest) dressed colourfully congregate in lakhs.
A major attraction is the Sitamata Wildlife Sanctuary spread over an area of 425sq. Kms.
The Bamboo, Teak and dry deciduous forests provide shelter to flying squirrels -which can be seen only in Northern India, Panthers, Pangolin, Sambhar, Chinkara, Wild boar, Chausingha, pythons and crocodiles and many other species.
